Tarot: Ninny (Revisited)
For National Poetry Month I will explore the Tarot
April is National Poetry Month. I am posting a poem each day in April related to the tarot deck. I had previously written about The Fool card, and have repurposed that poem to start things off.
Please check out the index at
Ninny
The Fool invites you to take a leap of faith and explore possibilities.
I stand alone
on this rocky path
that only I can see
I see things
none else in the world
have ever seen or dreamt
I hear voices
singing sweetly
all the unwritten songs
I share words
hiding arcane wisdom
that can never be understood
you mock me
call me simple fool
but you are so very wrong
I am not simple
and never will be
no matter how you cut me.

April 2nd will be: The Magician.
